Lisa has done a series of photographs posing with her mice. All of these photos, except for Guru on the Mountain Top, were taken by Ken Sanville of Louisville, CO.

Nuns 'n' Guns is inspired by my Catholic upbringing. In school we were taught by nuns who were disempowered women with few choices, and who tried to make our lives as miserable as thiers. I now realize that they were victims of an abusive and sexist culture and a system that used them. Now I see the church hierarchy as the basis for all of that oppression. With the exception of Pope John Paul, I view the Catholic church hierarchy as extremist and corrupt. This piece, although somewhat of a joke, expresses my deep dislike for any oppressive religious entity.
